ICML 2025 Poster Instructions
Poster
- Visit your My Stuff page to see your papers.
- Changes you make to your paper on OpenReview will not appear on icml.cc until after we manually pull the changes
Missing Papers
- see this FAQ if you do not see all your papers
Author Names
- On icml.cc we use the names that authors have set in their profile. Authors can change the name that is displayed by editing their profile
Author Registration
- One author of each accepted paper needs a conference registration see this FAQ
Video Recording
- A video recording is recommended as a backup, but not required
- You can find your SlidesLive Recording Link on your MyStuff page under Presentation History
- Workshops may use YouTube if you would like a pre-record
Poster Metadata
Authors of a paper will see [ Event Metadata for Authors (e.g. Poster and Slide Uploads...) ] on their poster page
- We recommend that you upload the following optional metadata at least one week before the conference starts.

- Upload your virtual poster and thumbnail

- Pick the topic that best fits your paper
- This is used to assign your poster a position in the poster session

- This is the for oral presentations to upload a PDF slide desk to accompany their oral presentation.

Poster Session Changes
- If you want to change your assigned poster session see this page for instructions on how to request a change.
Poster Sizes
Main Conference suggested sizes:
- 36in (H) x 48in (W)
- 36in (H) x 60in (W) aka 91cm(H) x 152cm (W)
- 36in (H) x 72in (W)
Workshop
- Must not exceed 36in (H) x 24in (W) or 91cm (H) x 61cm (W)
- Notice: Workshop posters must be in portrait format
Spotlight and Oral Posters
- Spotlight posters and Orals will be indicated on poster boards via "SPOTLIGHT" or "ORAL" signs, which will be provided along with push pins in the session rooms
- Authors of spotlight posters and orals can pick up their spotlight signs as they enter the poster room
Poster Display Instructions
Main Conference
- Use push pins to attach poster to poster boards. Push pins will be provided
- Do not use adhesive backed self-sticking posters or anything that can damage poster boards
Workshops
- Use only approved tape on workshop walls. Command strips and painters tape will be provided and available in the workshop room.
- Command strips are double sided. Instructions: separate the strips; remove backing on one side and stick to backside corners of poster; remove backing on other side and attach poster to wall
- Do not use adhesive backed self-sticking posters or anything that can damage the walls or poster boards
Poster Printing
- You can use any service you want to print your poster.
- We offer a optional poster printing service.
- JOB Name: On the form JOB NAME; is a descriptive name to identify your project or poster. i.e. paper title
- Recommended resolution: 100 DPI at the size of your poster
- Formats accepted: pdf, jpg, tiff, png

- Orders can be picked up the day before your presentation at the Vancouver Convention Centre in West MR 104 during the following hours:
- Monday - Friday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
