ICML 2024 Child Care - NO ONSITE REGISTRATION PERMITTED

ICML 2024 is proud to provide free onsite child care from Sunday, July 21st through Saturday, July 27th to our attendees at the Messe Wien Exhibition Congress Center. This year we have partnered with Kiddie Corp and Wiener Hilswerk. Limited space is available. Childcare is on a first come/first serve basis and we may not have enough room for every attendees child. If you already registered with Kiddie Corp, you may not switch to Wiener Hilswerk or vice versa. You must pick one child care company and have your child use them for the entire conference. No switching back and forth.

CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. The deadline to register is EOD (PDT) on June 30, 2024.

If you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so before EOD (PDT) on July 1st to avoid a cancellation fee. It would be greatly appreciated that you let Kiddie Corp know if you will not be utilizing these services to allow other caregivers the opportunity to make a reservation for their child. Please review the registration link for other important details. Once we have reached the reservation capacity, Kiddie Corp will add your child to a waitlist. Once placed on the waitlist, there is still no guarantee of obtaining a confirmed reservation for your child. To hold your reservation, you must provide a credit card.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR REGISTERED PARENTS USING KIDDIE CORP:
  • A parent/guardian MUST remain at the venue (Messe Wien Exhibition Congress Center) while their child is in the childcare center.
  • You will be required to sign a liability waiver.
  • ICML only provides snacks. Kiddie Corp is a nut free program. Caregivers will be responsible for making sure their child gets their regular meals.
  • Parents/guardians must have a conference registration for the same dates that they've registred their child for child care services. For example, if you've only purchased a "workshop" registration, then your child is only eligible for child care services on Friday and Saturday. If you'd like your child to have child care services from Sunday, July 21st - Saturday, July 27th then you must purchase all three registrations (Tutorials, Conference Sessions, & Workshops).

Please contact Stephanie Willes if you have any questions specific to childcare.

CHILDREN ACCOMPANYING REGISTERED ATTENDEE

REGISTERED PARENTS WITH ATTENDING CHILDREN
This year, we are pleased to offer complimentary registrations for minors of accompanied with a paying registrant.  This registration will allow the attendee to bring their minor with them to conference events.  To apply for this registration, send an email to diversity-chairs@icml.cc with "Dependent Minor Registration" in the subject line.  In the body of the email, you must include your name, confirmation that you have registered for ICML by attaching email of registration, the minor's name, the minor's age, and confirmation that you agree to the code of conduct for bringing dependent minors below.
Code of Conduct when bringing Dependent Minors: The purpose of this registration option is to allow attendees who are caregivers of minors to bring their minor along with them to the conference.  Regardless of the age of the minor, the minor may not be left unattended; they must be with the caregiver at all times. The caregiver must be a registered conference attendee. The caregiver takes responsibility for making sure that the minor follows the ICML Code of Conduct.  In addition, the caregiver is responsible for ensuring that the minor behaves in a safe manner and does not disrupt presentations.  The ICML staff may ask a caregiver+minor to leave a session if the minor's behavior is impeding the ability of attendees to fully participate in the session.

Please contact diversity-chairs@icml.cc  in you have questions specific to minor attending conference.
