Alternative payments

Registrants residing in some countries, including the People's Republic of China and Korea, will not be able to use Google Checkout (Google decides the country of residence based on the credit card's billing address).

Please try the following options in this order:

• Use a credit card with a billing address in one of the supported countries and register normally.
• Using PayPal. Paypal will accept credit cards from China, Korea and other countries.
  1. Compute the correct amount on the registration page.
  2. Send the amount to Paypal account tomas@icml-2011.org. The payment is for "Services". The currency is US dollars. The payment message subject should be "ICML registration". In the optional message, write down all of the information we ask for on the registration page.
  3. Send an email with the subject "ICML registration PayPal" to local@icml-2011.org with the same contents as the optional message.
  4. When your payment is received, we will register you manually through Google checkout and forward you a confirmation message. Please print it out. Also print out the Paypal transaction details page and bring both with you to the registration desk in June, at ICML 2011 in Bellevue.
  5. Your funds/money must be SENT by the correct date in order to receive the early or regular rates.
• Wire Transfer. For security reasons, we will not list the wire transfer information.
  1. Please email local@icml-2011.org for wire transfer instructions.
  2. Compute the correct amount on the registration page. You may consolidate the payment for multiple participants from the same institution.
  3. Wire the correct amount of money, in US dollars, according to the email instructions that you will receive.
  4. Send an email to local@icml-2011.org with the subject "ICML registration wire" all of the information we ask for on the registration page. Please attach a scanned wire receipt or .pdf of the confirmation page.
  5. When your payment is received, you will be registered for the conference. You will also receive an e-mail confirmation message. Please print it out and bring it with you to the ICML 2011 registration desk in June, in Bellevue.
  6. Your funds/money must be SENT by the correct date to receive the early or regular rate.
• If you absolutely cannot use any of the payments methods listed above, please email us. We will try to arrange other methods of payment.
